AC Repair in International City

AC repair in International City is something we can arrange, but it works differently from our JVC area. International City is a large low-rise community of apartment blocks grouped into country-themed clusters such as China, England, France, Russia and Greece, right beside Dragon Mart. At around 23 km from JVC it sits outside the core area, so a technician visits by appointment on a planned day rather than on short notice.

Split and window units in the country clusters

Flats in the clusters are mostly studios and one-bedroom units in blocks of only a few storeys. Cooling usually comes from wall-mounted splits or window units in each room, with outdoor units on balconies, walls or rooftops. Common problems include:

• a split that blows air but has stopped cooling, often a capacitor or low refrigerant after a leak;
• water running down the inside wall from a blocked drain pipe;
• window units that have become loud or vibrate in their frame;
• outdoor units on the roof covered in dust from nearby open land.

The AC repair page shows how the technician tracks down each fault. Where the refrigerant has leaked out, an AC gas refill follows a proper leak repair, not before.

How appointments in International City work

Send your cluster name, building number and flat number through get a quote, along with the number of AC units and a short description of the problem. Give two or three times that suit you, and the visit will be booked when a technician is scheduled on that side of the city. Tell the building watchman to expect the visit if your block has one. Because an appointment involves a longer trip, it makes sense to have every unit in the flat checked at once, and to add AC maintenance for units that have not been cleaned in a while. The areas page lists where we cover, and the contact page has other ways to reach us.
